The Three Gorges Dam project met the completion acceptance on November 11 announced by the Ministry of Water Resources of the People's Republic of China and the National Development and Reform Commission.

Since 2001，Far East has participated in the Three Gorges Dam Project deeply for over 20 years.

With the completion acceptance of the project, Far East cable will continue its essential role in the clean energy development through its participation in the national-level project.   

According to the acceptance conclusion, the construction of the Three Gorges Dam Project that fulfilled all specifications and design requirements.  

The Three Gorges Dam Project is the largest hydro junction project and hydropower project in the world with great comprehensive benefits. The result of the monitoring presented the normal working behaviors of the dam, flood discharge and energy dissipation, water diversion and power generation system, navigation and the protection construction of Maoping.

The world's largest hydropower station, the dam had generated over 1.35 trillion kilowatt-hours of electricity by August, contributing to electricity supply in Central and East China and Guangdong province. It also serves as a major clean energy production base and boosts energy conservation and emissions reduction.

Far East cable accelerated the completion of the world-famous national-level project with its "ultimate products and services" to make the transmission project of the Three Gorges Dam successful.
