"The surging Yellow River moistens Baiyin, and the scenery on both sides is like a gallery." On July 19th, the 6th National Disabled Persons "Five Creations" Forum was successfully held in Jingyuan, Gansu.
This forum, with the theme of "Advocating the Practice of Helping the Disabled and Devoting to Rural Revitalization", was guided by the People's Government of Jingyuan County, Gansu Province, hosted by Far East Holding Group Co., Ltd., co-organized by Far East Charity Foundation, Civil Affairs Bureau of Jingyuan County, and Disabled Persons' Federation of Jingyuan County, and supported by Media Center of Jingyuan County, Gansu Province and Gansu Hanyuefu Media Culture Co., Ltd.

Li Shougang mentioned that the cause related to disabled persons is a noble humanitarian cause and an indispensable part of building a Chinese path to modernization. In recent years, the Jingyuan County Party Committee and County Government have always placed the work of disabled persons in an important position, planning at a high level and promoting overall coordination, in an effort to build a robust service system. The holding of the National Disabled Persons "Five Creations" Forum in Jingyuan and the establishment of disabled entrepreneurship and employment assistance sites by Far East Charity Foundation in Jingyuan to provide a three-year assistance to 30 entrepreneurship points will surely provide more entrepreneurship and employment opportunities and development space for disabled persons in the county. Meanwhile, it will also cultivate more outstanding talent among disabled persons, promote the cause of Jingyuan's disabled persons to a new height, and make new breakthroughs.

Zhou Dongjiao's Speech
Zhou Dongjiao introduced the general situation of Far East Holding Group to the leaders and guests at the scene. She mentioned that Far East has been committed to helping disabled persons since its inception in 1985. So far, Far East has resettled more than 3,000 disabled persons for employment, making it the private enterprise with the most resettlement of disabled persons in China. Based on pioneering "entrepreneurship assistance sites", Far East enables more physically challenged people to have a career, which not only solves the difficulties of the physically challenged people's lives, but also truly "solves the problem at the root", enabling them to learn skills, earn their own living, and lead a dignified life.
Charity is not a simple "donation ceremony". Far East has always been committed to achieving powerful charity. Teaching beneficiaries how to take money, use money and even make money is an issue that needs to be continuously explored in charity work. She hopes that the assistance sites set up by Far East here can become a part of Jingyuan's "oasis", lush and endless.

On how to further increase the intensity of public services for disabled persons in Baiyin and make up for the shortcomings of disabled persons' livelihood, he shared three views: First, we should expand publicity, fully utilize the role of emerging media such as television, radio, and the Internet to guide people to correctly understand and treat disabled persons and their problems; Second, we should increase investment, organize vocational skills training for disabled persons in a planned manner according to the precise needs of the labor market and employers and the precise needs of disabled persons themselves; Third, we should improve the mechanism, further strengthen the construction of the disabled employment market, incorporate the disabled employment market into the construction of the social labor market system, and open up employment channels for disabled persons.

Mei Hui's Speech
Mei Hui shared with the leaders and guests present a side note on Far East Holding Group's work in helping disabled persons in Shennongjia Forest Region. She said that there are four main characteristics of disabled persons in Shennongjia Forest Area: a large proportion of people, more severely disabled; great difficulties faced by self-employed groups; high poverty level; weak rehabilitation guarantee.
For this reason, the disabled entrepreneurship assistance site set up by Far East in Shennongjia Forest Area is particularly important for helping disabled persons in this area. It is not only material support but also spiritual encouragement, which make many disabled friends have a new look and become more confident. Mei Hui hopes that more and more friends can come to Shennongjia to take a walk and have a look, and feel the beautiful scenery of Shennongjia as a national 5A-level scenic spot.

Tan Yanhua's Speech
Tan Yanhua used to be a national women's sitting volleyball player and won three Paralympic championships. After retiring and returning to her hometown of Yixing, she began to study Zisha craftsmanship. She said that whether playing ball or making Zisha, it is all about handwork, requiring persistence, courage, and perseverance. During her decade-long volleyball career, she has experienced countless times of bleeding, fractures, and ligament strains. But she never thought of retreating for she knew that only by moving forward bravely could she change her destiny.
Tan Yanhua said that life is long journey and everyone may have a particularly difficult time. Don't be afraid, move towards the sun and move forward bravely.
